The Biennale at the Grand Palais; several centuries of art under a great glass roof

From September 13th to 17th, 2019, the Biennale Paris invites you to discover antiquities, paintings, furniture and other exceptional items dating back as far as 6,000 years. For over half a century this fair has been an essential art market event. The top French and international art and antiques dealers gather under the magnificent glass roof of the Grand Palais to show passionate collectors and casual browsers alike the essence of French taste and art de vivre.

 

Maison et Objet; the leading trade show for interior decoration and design

Organised in parallel with Paris Design Week, the Maison et Objet trade show brings together industry insiders from all over the world involved in the fields of interior decoration, design and lifestyle. Taking place at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from September 6th to 10th, 2019, the event is reserved for professionals (designers, brands, decorators, architects, etc.). Some 130,000 m2 of display space plays host to exhibitors unveiling the latest trends and innovations.

 

Paris Design Week and the latest creations

Want to rethink your decor or find fresh inspiration for your home? From September 5th to 14th, 2019, the various events of Paris Design Week can be found in more than 200 sites throughout the capital, including museums, hotels, galleries, design schools and other locations. More than 100 French and international designers are expected to exhibit their latest concepts, creations and collections. A key design-oriented occasion in Paris, this 10-day event will reveal the hottest contemporary trends. This year’s chosen theme will be ‘Design in the City’ and you can discover it via several themed walks in the districts of Saint-Germain, Opera-Concorde-Etoile, Les Halles-Marais-Bastille and Barbès-Stalingrad-Puces de Saint-Ouen.

 

Paris Fashion Week; see the spring-summer 2020 collections revealed

It’s in Paris that the trends of tomorrow are affirmed. A major fashion and essential media event for most of the world’s top creators, Fashion Week will take place this year from September 23rd to October 1st, revealing to the public the latest women's fashion collections for spring-summer 2020. Isabel Marant, Saint-Laurent, Chloé, Shiaparelli and many other iconic houses will ignite the catwalks. Paris Fashion Week is also very popular with major brands from outside France such as Belgium’s Dries Van Noten, Italy’s Valentino and the UK’s Stella McCartney.
