The year is racing along like a high performance sports car and the eagerly anticipated Paris International Motor Show will be upon us almost before we know it. Taking place at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre from October 4th to 19th, this automotive event of the year will host the world’s biggest brands and launch their latest models.

As always, a major attraction of the Paris Mondial de l’Automobile will be the new vehicles, both concept cars and production models, that will be unveiled at the event. With over fifty marques displaying their wares, the selection promises to be impressive. Launching in 2014 will be the Jaguar XE compact saloon, a Mercedes Benz C class estate, the Fiat 500X, a redesigned Skoda Fabia, a new Vauxhall Corsa and a performance version of the Mulsanne sedan from Bentley.
As is traditional with this motor show that dates back to 1898, making it the oldest in the world, there will be a retrospective exhibition to enjoy. Automobiles and Fashion charts the course of these interconnected fields, with the various eras being illustrated by dozens of great cars, from an 1897 Panhard to a clutch of 21st century concept vehicles.
There will also be a terrific opportunity to try out the new wave of electric and hybrid vehicles on a demonstration and test track especially designed for the purpose. Additionally, there will be more new technology, accessories, news and family friendly entertainment than you can wave a starting handle at! Come and enjoy the world’s finest motor show.
