A prestigious event for collectors of drawings

A unique event in France with an international reputation, the Salon du Dessin remains a major event celebrating this popular form of art. From March 22nd to 27th the 26th edition of this superb fair for collectors and connoisseurs of drawings will be held in the impressive surroundings of the Palais Brongniart, a flagship of Parisian architectural heritage. Led by its new chairman, Louis de Bayser, the Salon du Dessin will present more than a thousand works to the general public, offering a very special experience to collectors, conservators and those who simply love rare and beautiful hand-drawn creativity. This year some 39 prestigious international galleries specialising in Old Masters, Modern and Contemporary drawings will be in attendance. The show also ties in with the Draughtsman’s Week organised by the museums of Paris. This presents the unique opportunity to venture to the four corners of the capital to hunt down works of art from the private collection of Émile Hermès or drawings by Antonin Artaud, Paule Thévenin and other major artists.
